Ammonite Resources provides sophisticated geotechnical,
economic and financial analysis at both the project and company level. Our geotechnical
services range from: due diligence for financial investors; geological and geophysical
interpretation of data sets; providing multi-disciplinary teams to operating
oil and gas companies for the evaluation of a new venture, acquisition or divestiture;
and providing senior geoscientists on a contract basis for work in a client’s
office. Ammonite does not prepare reserve reports, but frequently audits
reserve reports on behalf of our clients. We do, however prepare comprehensive
risked resource evaluations. Geotechnical

Ammonite has extensive experience in the evaluation of “unconventional” shale gas and oil, coalbed methane, heavy oil, and bitumen sand resources.
In June 2009 Ammonite evaluated the acreage of a company in the Bakken Play in North Dakota on behalf of a private equity investor. The investor wanted to understand the Bakken and whether the company in which it was considering making an investment had leases within a “sweet spot” within the Bakken.
